Services

ProSyntest uses its core competency in organic synthetic chemistry as a base from which it offers the following services:

Custom synthesis: custom made organic chemicals according to known protocols or by developing and executing of new synthetic route in

• Lab scale
• Kilo-lab scale
• Pilot production scale up to 200 kg;

Contract research:

• Design of new synthetic strategies and routes for organic compounds
• Development of synthesis and analysis know-how for technological processes

Process development: development, optimisation and scale up of manufacturing processes which are technically feasible, safe and environmentally acceptable.

Own R & D projects

The main goal in this field is the commercialisation of prospective ideas.

Completed projects:

• Technology for the production of 5-aminolevulinic acid hydrochloride. The technology is also licensed out to the industrial partner.
• Novel synthetic route for the production of homocitric acid. Patent application has been submitted.

Ongoing projects:

• Chiral building blocks for asymmetric synthesis
• Chiral ligands for asymmetric catalysis
• Synthesis of biologically active nucleoside analogues
