ProSyntest is a provider of custom organic
synthesis and contract research and development for the pharmaceutical and
fine chemical industry, with a focus on customer needs in quality, confidentiality,
in-time delivery and cost efficiency.
ProSyntest's unique strength lies in its personnel. The company employs 25 people,
nine of whom hold a Ph.D. and eight the first degree in chemistry.
The team is well-experienced in managing research, documentation and production.
ProSyntest, located on the campus of Tallinn University of Technology, has
strong collaborative links with departments of the University. These relationships
are beneficial to both parties, enabling ProSyntest to concentrate on
contracts with industries whilst the University seeds ProSyntest with
new prospective investigation ideas and tools.
Today, ProSyntest has a number of successfully completed and on-going
collaboration projects with various pharmaceutical and fine chemical companies
worldwide.
Background
The
company was established in 1989 as a spin-off from the Estonian Academy of Sciences.
It started the operations under the name of Tensiid. In 2000, a new name
ProSyntest was introduced to inform the market clearly about the core
activities today - custom manufacture of fine chemicals, active pharmaceutical
ingredients and advanced intermediates as well as development of new chemical
procedures. ProSyntest Ltd. is a private company owned by chemistry
professionals.
